Is Zyemed a PACS or a RIS?
Zyemed is a modular ecosystem. Lumina provides PACS capabilities, Orbis coordinates RIS workflows, and other components support connectivity, reporting and sharing.
Can we deploy Zyemed on our own infrastructure?
On-premise is a supported deployment option. Cloud and hybrid designs are also assessed according to operational and governance requirements.
Does Zyemed require reliable internet at all times?
Deployment designs may use local persistence and controlled synchronisation to reduce disruption during connectivity instability. Exact offline behaviour depends on the selected configuration.
Does Zyemed diagnose patients?
No. Zyemed supports authorised healthcare workflows. Research-stage AI and speech capabilities do not replace professional clinical judgement.
Which modalities are supported?
Zyemed is designed around DICOM workflows and can be configured for supported X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound and other compliant modalities. Compatibility is verified during assessment.
Does Zyemed support multiple facilities?
Multi-facility workflow is a supported configuration with institution, facility and role controls defined during implementation.
Where is data stored?
Storage may be institution-controlled, cloud-based or hybrid. Residency, retention, backup and access responsibilities are defined for each deployment.
Can referring doctors access images?
Zyemed Share can provide controlled access to selected studies and reports within supported deployments.
Can Zyemed integrate with our hospital system?
Supported DICOM, HL7, FHIR or API integration depends on the required connector and vendor implementation. Compatibility is assessed before commitment.
How long does implementation take?
Timing depends on modalities, integrations, facilities, network readiness, storage and pilot scope. A schedule is produced after workflow assessment.
